With an impressive career spanning 31 years, Mr. Bandyopadhyay has established himself as a leading expert in detailed design engineering and project management within the power sector. His extensive experience encompasses a wide array of projects, including coal-based supercritical power plants, combined cycle and simple cycle power plants, high-voltage substations and transmission systems, grid integration, and comprehensive power system studies, including time domain analysis. Throughout his career, Mr. Bandyopadhyay has successfully executed detailed engineering projects for various power plants across the globe, including in India, the USA, CIS countries, the Middle East, Thailand, Turkey, and Singapore. His international experience has equipped him with a diverse skill set and a deep understanding of the global power industry. Currently, Mr. Bandyopadhyay serves as the Head of the Electrical Department at L&T-Sargent & Lundy Limited, a joint venture between Larsen & Toubro (L&T) and Sargent & Lundy LLC.
