With 15+ years shaping industrial policy, Mr. Joshi bridges governance and ground realities in mobility transformation. He currently drives initiatives for EV adoption and charging infrastructure while fostering critical academia-industry partnerships. A firm believer in the power of youth and innovation, Mr. Joshi’s efforts are helping shape a future where India leads in green mobility, self-reliant manufacturing, and technology-driven development.) Gaurav Joshi is a Gold medalist in Masters in Mechanical Design from Pune university. He did his executive program from IIM Lucknow. He worked in various countries in manufacturing sector in Europe, US and Global Engineering Center. Mr. Joshi was a member of various boards, governing councils, inter-ministerial consultations, and government schemes, contributing to investments in projects, organizations, skill development, ventures, business, technology, and people. Mr Gaurav Joshi joined Government of India in 2021 through Lateral Entry as a manufacturing sector expert after spending 17 years in the manufacturing industry in various senior leadership roles. He administered the FAME II scheme (Faster Adoption and Manufacturing of (Hybrid &) Electric Vehicles in India, covering E2W, E3W, E4W, e-buses, chargers, etc. He was also responsible for international Cooperation matters involving Free Trade Agreements (FTA).
