Dr Ramachandran is the CEO of LEDL. He is responsible for business goals and accountable for P&L. He also is Champions and Spearheads the Business Excellence Initiatives through cross functional management in the company. He has more than 30 years of experience to his credit, during which he has held responsible positions in the areas of Operations, R&D, Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, Supply chain management, Strategy deployment and General management in reputed organizations such as Rieter – LMW, ELGI Equipment’s, Velan valves, and Propel Industries before joining with LEDL. He has extensive experience in setting up Greenfield companies and transformational management in Brownfield companies. Dr Ramachandran holds a BE in Mechanical Engineering, ME in Production Engineering and Ph D in Lean Manufacturing from Anna University, Chennai. He contributes his time as a resource person to engineering education system that helps budding engineers to move from Campus to Corporate and also former Co-Convener (CII Coimbatore).
