Kaustav Basak is a seasoned project and operations professional with deep expertise in commissioning, operations, design, strategy, and project development across large-scale petrochemical facilities. He began his career commissioning projects at Reliance Jamnagar, followed by progressive roles at Haldia Petrochemicals and Dow Chemicals, before returning to Haldia Petrochemicals in leadership positions. Over the years, he has successfully bridged engineering, construction, commissioning, and operations, driving safe and reliable asset delivery. Currently, he is serving as Project Manager for the execution of India’s largest Phenol plant, leading end-to-end project delivery with a strong focus on excellence, integration, and sustainability.
