Anil Kumar Choudhary is the Chief General Manager at Energy Efficiency Services Limited (EESL), Ministry of Power, Government of India. He currently serves as President of the Indian Association of Energy Management Professionals (IAEMP) and is a Member of the Evaluation Committee for the Grid India Power System Award and the National Energy Conservation Award (NECA), Ministry of Power, Government of India. He is also a Member of the Advisory Board of the Technology Innovation Hub at IIT Roorkee, a Member of the BIS Committee for Luminaires, Lamps and Associated Engineering, and a Mentor for the Innovation Challenge Instinct 2.0 at Intellismart (a JV of NIIF & EESL) as well as for the IIT Kanpur Incubation and Startup Centre for Clean Tech, Agri Tech, and Sustainability. He has been conferred a Certificate of Sustainability by Terrapass and the Bharat ke Anmol Award for Leadership in Energy Efficiency and Sustainability. He holds a B.Tech in Electrical Engineering from IIT Kanpur, a Master of Business Law from the National Law University of India, Bangalore, and a certification in Sustainable Finance from IIM Ahmedabad. With 23 years of experience at MECON, a CPSU under the Ministry of Steel, and 5 years at EESL, he has extensive experience in India and abroad across heavy engineering and futuristic technological projects in power distribution, power reforms, related automations, quality and energy audits, and energy efficiency in industry, power utilities, agriculture, and the social sector.
